and how its gentle thundering reminds me of the sound of a rocket, from far, far away, forcefully breaking through the various layers of the atmosphere, and how this sound conjures up an image of a giant grey wave errupting across the beach, like a tiny atomic explosion.
However violent these images are, the soft thunder allows me to view it with gentleness and a strange kind of delicacy.
